RT*MC is committed to assisting residents, whether they are long-time homeowners interested in preserving their investment, or new owners trying to make their new home a safe and livable one. By focusing on specific neighborhoods each year, and collaborating with other community revitalization initiatives, RT*MC is able to maximize and sustain its positive impact on the lives of local community residents.

Who Qualifies
Each year, RT*MC selects a specific neighborhood in the City of Chicago and a specific neighborhood in south suburban Cook County in which to do repairs. To qualify, residents must live in one of these neighborhoods, own their own homes, reside in their home, and fall under the US Federal Government's HUD defined low-income ranges. Elderly, disabled and homeowners with children are encouraged to apply.

How to Apply
If you live in one of our designated program neighborhoods, or if you have a relative or friend in those neighborhoods who you believe would benefit from our program, please call us at (312) 201-1188 or email us at rtmc@rebuildingtogether-chi.com.

From Our Homeowners
"I am left speechless every time I walk into my closet, put some cans of groceries in my kitchen cabinets, wash a load of clothes, enter the basement, look at the second floor ceiling and water my new lawn while I relax on my back porch. I am very grateful and full of joy from your kindness that was demonstrated on the National Rebuilding Day. I would also like to thank the volunteers who came to my home with their children who came to my home to help out a stranger for a day. God bless you all!"
